This "application area" will group together research and development actions related to the reuse of water in an industrial context in the food, health, environment and biotechnology sectors in the broad sense.

This concerns both the recycling of process water and the use of alternative water resources such as treated wastewater or rainwater in the process.

The scope of the study may concern the production unit, an industrial basin or an urban basin. Research on the optimisation of water management within a given perimeter aimed at developing integrated management of the resource is also concerned.

Finally, the issue of water in the broad sense, induced by the development of new industrial sectors in the context of the bioeconomy, will be of interest in this "application area". It is interconnected with all the other research themes and application areas of the network, whether they are thematic or applicative.
